NNPP Blames Kwankwaso for Defections to APC, PDP in Betrayal Saga

The New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP) attributes the defections of Abdulmuni Jibrin and Oluremi Oguntoyinbo to the APC and PDP to betrayal by Kwankwaso, a 2023 presidential candidate. Jibrin, a former director-general of a support group for Bola Tinubu, declared support for Tinubu's re-election in 2027.

Oguntoyinbo, a former NNPP gubernatorial candidate, officially resigned from NNPP and joined PDP. NNPP's National Secretary expressed hope for INEC to swiftly resolve the party's leadership crisis for active participation in the 2027 elections.
