Kwara Church Attack: Bandits Kill Three, Abduct 35 Worshippers in Eruku

In Kwara, during a thanksgiving service at Christ Apostol Church in Eruku, Ekiti Local Government Area, armed bandits attacked, killing three worshippers and abducting 35 more. The assailants strategically positioned themselves around the church, launching the attack midway through the service.

The church had taken special measures to broadcast the event live on Facebook for those unable to attend physically. The attack led to panic among the congregation, with some mistaking the gunshots for Christmas fireworks.

Local vigilantes tried to resist the bandits, but calls for help to state and local authorities went unanswered.
