Nigerian Security Agencies Make Arrests in Connection to Kwara Church Attack

Nigerian security forces, including the Nigerian Police Force and the Department of State Services, have made several arrests in connection to the recent church attack in Kwara State. The arrests include individuals linked to supplying food and fuel to criminal operations.

Ibrahim Abdullateef, a senior special assistant to Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, revealed the arrests following a security briefing. Governor Abdulrazaq has convened a security council meeting to review strategies to strengthen public safety and combat kidnapping threats in the state.

The attack, which occurred in Eruku community, resulted in casualties and the kidnapping of a pastor.
