L-PRES Trains 100 Borno Farmers in Modern Livestock Techniques

L-PRES has commenced a training program in Borno State aimed at enhancing the skills of 100 livestock farmers across three senatorial districts. The training, which took place in Maiduguri, was coordinated by Makinta Ali, who emphasized the importance of understanding business dynamics and financial management for sustainable livestock enterprises.

Participants will learn business management strategies to mitigate risks and expand their operations. Ronk Akanni, a representative from L-PRES, congratulated the selected beneficiaries, describing the program as a life-changing opportunity that will enable them to access loans and improve livestock productivity.

Halima Abubakar, a participant who has been rearing sheep for six years, expressed her satisfaction with the training, stating it would help her develop her small farm into a larger enterprise and assist others in the future.
