A Delta Airline flight from Lagos, Nigeria, to Atlanta, United States, diverted to Accra, Ghana, following an onboard fire incident. The fire was quickly contained, with no harm to passengers.

Delta Airline provided rebooking arrangements for stranded passengers. The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority spokesperson, Michael Achimugu, assured passengers of continued assistance.
