Lagos Celebrates Afrobeat Spirit at Ecobank Exhibition

Lagos recently hosted an Afrobeat celebration at the Ecobank Pan African Centre, showcasing the rebellion and power of Afrobeat music in honor of Fela Anikulapo Kuti. The event, in collaboration with the French Embassy in Nigeria, featured a Philharmonic de Paris exhibit.

The exhibition, curated by Papa Omotayo, brought Fela's revolutionary spirit to life through live music, workshops, and immersive experiences. Fela's family, including Seun and Yeni Kuti, expressed pride and happiness at the event, emphasizing the importance of celebrating Fela's enduring legacy.
