Lagos Cleric Predicts Tinubu’s Fate in 2027 Poll, Warns President Over America: 'They Are Desperate'

Primate Elijah Ayodele, founder of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, predicted that the United States would support President Bola Tinubu's ambition in the 2027 election. Ayodele warned Tinubu to be cautious of the US, stating that they are desperate and could remove him from power.

He advised the Nigerian leader to address issues of hunger and security in the country to avoid problems. Despite no official declaration of interest, Ayodele stated that Tinubu would be defeated in the election.

There have been speculations about Tinubu dropping his running mate, Shettima, as the president prepares for the election. Earlier, Professor Bolaji Akinyemi advised Tinubu to avoid confrontation with the US President and find ways to deal with him effectively.

Presidential spokesperson Bayo Onanuga dismissed claims of endorsing Tinubu for a second term without mentioning Shettima.
