Oladejo Advocates for Lagos' Special Status in Parliament

Oladejo declared his intention to contest for the House of Representatives seat in Mushin Constituency II, emphasizing the need for Lagos to be recognized as Nigeria's economic nerve center. He highlighted the importance of increasing federal recognition and support for Lagos State, which comprises 37 Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs).

Oladejo pledged to sponsor a bill in the National Assembly aimed at granting Lagos special status and enhancing infrastructural support. He noted that this legislative effort would also seek to increase federal funding for infrastructural development projects in the state.

Additionally, Oladejo discussed his commitment to empowering youth through vocational education, healthcare, and sports development, and he plans to propose legislation to create large-scale employment opportunities. His agenda includes support for artisans, traders, and students, as well as initiatives for mental health and the growth of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
