Lagos to Host Invest Summit with 1,000 Delegates

The Lagos State Government has announced plans for the third edition of the Invest Lagos Summit, scheduled for June 8-9 at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island. The summit is expected to attract 1,000 delegates from 50 countries, with the theme "Lagos: Business Gateway to Africa." The event is organized in partnership with the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council (CWEIC) and aims to deepen investment inflows into the state.

Folashad Bada, the Commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, and Trade, and Ambros Medebem, described the summit as a strategic platform for mobilizing investment and engaging enterprises. The summit will feature keynote addresses, executive roundtables, exhibitions, and investment matchmaking sessions focused on sectors such as infrastructure, manufacturing, agriculture, technology, blue economy, tourism, logistics, energy, financial services, and SME development.

Key highlights include opportunities in industrial parks, special economic zones, innovation districts, export-oriented manufacturing, and digital commerce ecosystems.
