Lagos Judiciary Unveils Programme for 2025/2026 Legal Year

The Lagos State Judiciary has unveiled its programme for the 2025/2026 Legal Year under the leadership of Chief Judge Hon Justice Kazeem Olanrewaju Alogba. The legal year will commence with a thanksgiving service on September 22, 2025, at the Lagos Central Mosque and Cathedral Church of Christ Marina.

The event aims to express gratitude for past achievements and seek divine guidance as the court enters a new legal year. Activities will continue with a Legal Year Summit on September 23 at the Shell Zenith Bank Hall in MUSON Centre, Onikan, Lagos.

The summit will bring together judges, lawyers, policymakers, and stakeholders to discuss pressing issues in justice delivery. The event is seen as a tradition that reinforces Lagos State's role as a model of judicial excellence in Nigeria.

Legal practitioners, stakeholders, and the public are encouraged to actively participate in the week-long activities.
