Lagos Police Declare Activist Sowore Wanted for Inciting Public Disorder

The Lagos Police have declared activist Sowore wanted for allegedly attempting to incite public disorder and obstruct traffic during a protest against house demolitions in Oworonshoki. Sowore had organized a movement to protest the demolitions as part of an urban modernization project.

Despite warnings, Sowore defied police orders and attempted a peaceful protest, leading to a clash with anti-riot police. The police presence, including on the Third Mainland Bridge, aimed to prevent further disruptions.

Sowore's actions have been deemed as causing hardship to Nigerians and visitors.
