Lagos Sports Commission DG Lauds GOtv Boxing Night for Nurturing Local Boxing Talent

The Director-General of the Lagos State Sports Commission, Lekan Fatodu, commended the organization of GOtv Boxing Night for its role in promoting and nurturing local boxing talent in Nigeria. During a visit by delegates from Flykite Productions, the organizers of GOtv Boxing Night, plans for the 34th edition of the event were discussed.

Fatodu described GOtv Boxing Night as an enduring private sector initiative that has revived public interest in boxing and provided a platform for young fighters to showcase their skills. The event has garnered support and pride from Lagos State, with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu reaffirming the commitment to fostering a vibrant sports culture in the state through partnerships with credible private promoters like GOtv Boxing Night.
