Lagos to Host 10th ICC Africa Arbitration Conference 2026

The 10th ICC Africa Conference on International Arbitration will take place in Lagos, Nigeria, from June 3 to June 5, 2026. Organized by the ICC International Court of Arbitration in collaboration with ICC Nigeria, the conference will gather arbitration practitioners, business leaders, and legal professionals to discuss dispute resolution in cross-border commercial transactions across the continent.

The theme of the conference is "Decade of Excellence: Shaping the Future of International Arbitration in Africa." Activities will commence on June 3 with advanced training on drafting and enforcing arbitration awards, hosted by the ICC Institute of World Business Law. The main conference is scheduled for June 4-5, focusing on topics such as cross-border commercial disputes, enforcement of arbitration awards, investment arbitration, energy, infrastructure disputes, and technological innovations.

Notable speakers include Lateef Olasukanmi Fagbemi, Claudia Salomon, and others. The event aims to reinforce Nigeria's position as a hub for international arbitration and legal innovation in commercial dispute resolution across Africa.
