Lookman Unavailable for Atletico Madrid's Match vs Bilbao

Diego Simeone, the coach of Atletico Madrid, confirmed that Ademola Lookman will not be fit for the home match against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday. Lookman sustained an adductor injury during Atletico's Copa del Rey final defeat to Real Sociedad last weekend.

As a result, the Nigerian international also missed the defeat against Elche on Tuesday. Simeone stated, "Ademola Lookman not ready tomorrow yet," indicating that while it is positive that Lookman was able to leave the Copa final, he is not yet ready to return to play.

The 28-year-old winger is expected to recover in time for the first leg of Atletico's UEFA Champions League semi-final fixture against Arsenal next week.
