LAPO MfB Marks International Youth Day  with New Initiatives

LAPO Microfinance Bank celebrated International Youth Day by launching new initiatives to empower young people. The event, held on August 12, highlighted the importance of youth in driving sustainable development and innovation.

The bank, known for its commitment to financial inclusion and community development, introduced programs focused on economic empowerment, digital technology, and education. Activities included workshops, mentorship sessions, and a Pitch Biz contest for student entrepreneurs.

The initiative, in partnership with the University of Lagos Mass Communication Students Association, aimed to provide tools and opportunities for young people to thrive. LAPO MfB's statement emphasized the significance of youth actions in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals and beyond.

The bank has been a key player in promoting financial literacy and supporting community growth for over three decades.
