Germany Advances to Round of 32 with Late Undav Goal

In a thrilling encounter, Germany defeated Ivory Coast 2-1, securing their advancement to the Round of 32 in the tournament. Franck Kessi put Ivory Coast ahead in the first half, but the European side rallied in the second half.

Substitute Deniz Undav played a pivotal role, scoring twice to clinch the victory for Germany. His first goal came in the 68th minute, assisted by Nadiem Amiri's cross.

Despite multiple saves from Ivory Coast goalkeeper Yahia Fofana, Undav managed to score the decisive goal four minutes from time, controlling a pass from Felix Nmecha and slotting it into the net. This victory marked Germany's second win, bringing their total points to six and ensuring their place in the knockout round for the first time since 2014.

Ivory Coast, on the other hand, will face Curacao in their final group match, hoping to secure a spot in the knockout stage.
