LCCI Urges Nigerian Government to Position Country as AI Hub for Economic Growth

The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) has called on the Federal Government to establish Nigeria as a regional hub for Artificial Intelligence (AI) to boost economic development. LCCI President, Mr.

Ley Kupoluyi, emphasized the need for a coordinated strategy involving policy formulation, infrastructure development, and investment in human capital. The Chamber also advocated for a clear national AI framework and collaboration with the private sector.

Additionally, the LCCI urged the Central Bank of Nigeria to maintain transparency in monetary policies to support businesses and reduce living costs.
