Ribeiro Prepares for Osimhen Challenge in Champions League
Lille defender Alexandro Ribeiro expressed his anticipation for a challenging personal contest against Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen in the UEFA Champions League match on Wednesday. The match, part of matchday three, will take place at the Stade Pierre-Mauroy, where both Lille and Galatasaray are looking for their first points after two rounds of the competition.
Ribeiro acknowledged the difficulty of facing Osimhen, who previously played for Lille during the 2019/2020 season before transferring to Napoli. He predicted a physical battle between the two players, stating, “Yes, I’ll be playing against Osimhen.
It’s going to be a tough match for us. It will be a bit of a battle between the two of us.”.
