Nigerian Government Pursues Guinness World Record for Longest Dining Table at Abuja Gastronomy Festival

The Nigerian government, through the Ministry of Art, Culture, and Tourism, plans to set a Guinness World Record for the longest dining table at a gastronomy festival in Abuja. The event, part of the Nihotour Gastronomy Festival, will showcase Nigeria's diverse culinary heritage and promote opportunities in the hospitality and creative economy sectors.

With a theme of "Oriki Tast Culture," the festival aims to empower youth in culinary and hospitality skills, create jobs, attract investors, and enhance the country's tourism industry. The festival aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renew Hope agenda and is set to host cultural events, food, music, comedy, and more.
