On Tuesday, Atletico Madrid achieved a 2-1 victory against Osasuna, consolidating their fourth place in La Liga with 66 points. Ademola Lookman opened the scoring with a penalty in the 15th minute after Javi Galan was penalized for handball.

Alex Sorloth extended the lead with a close-range header in the 35th minute. The match became more challenging for Atletico after Marco Llorente received a red card for two fouls on Kike Barja, tightening the game.

In injury time, Osasuna managed to pull a goal back, but Atletico held on to secure the win. Meanwhile, Real Betis defeated Elche 2-1, ensuring their qualification for next season's Champions League, finishing with at least fifth place and currently holding 57 points, seven points ahead of sixth-placed Celta Vigo.

This will mark Real Betis' first return to elite European competition since the 2005-06 season.
