Wike's Development Efforts Praised Amid Land Encroachment Concerns

Residents of CRD Layout in Lugbe have expressed their appreciation for the development initiatives of Barr Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). They highlighted improvements in infrastructure, health, education, and human capital development in Abuja, particularly the reconstruction of major roads.

However, they raised concerns about land encroachment by Paulo Homes, owned by Mr. Paul Odili, who they allege is illegally building on community land and using thugs to intimidate residents. Despite previous warnings from the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) regarding encroachment, Paulo Homes has continued its activities.

The residents have requested Wike's urgent intervention to arrest Odili for disobeying court orders and to revoke the encroached land. They emphasized that Riverpark Estate and Paulo Homes are the only estates in Abuja without measured land, and they seek protection from ongoing illegal activities.
