Osimhen to Shine in Istanbul Derby Amid Transfer Buzz

Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian striker, is set to be a key player in the highly anticipated Istanbul Derby between Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe. This match is crucial in the Turkish Süper Lig title race, with Galatasaray currently leading with 71 points, followed closely by Fenerbahçe at 67 points.

Osimhen, who is regarded as one of the best players on the pitch, has been in excellent form. However, there were concerns regarding his participation due to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) ruling on his protective arm gear, which was designed to protect a forearm injury sustained against Liverpool last month.

The TFF dismissed Fenerbahçe's appeal, allowing Osimhen to wear the gear and participate in the match. Several elite European clubs, including Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Juventus, are reportedly scouting Osimhen, who was acquired by Galatasaray for a Turkish record of 70 million last year.

The club may demand over 100 million for him in the summer transfer window.
