Maduro and Wife Extradited to US, Face Drug Charges

Venezuelan President Nicola Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores are set to appear in a US federal court in New York on drug charges. They were extradited from Venezuela following a US military operation.

The charges include conspiracy to commit narco-terrorism and import cocaine. The indictment also involves other key figures like Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman and Ghislaine Maxwell.

Pam Bondi, the U.S. Attorney General, is leading the case.
