Nigeria Launches U19 Independence Cup to Boost Youth Football

Nigeria is set to launch the U19 Independence Cup to promote youth football development coinciding with the Independence Anniversary on October 1. The tournament, organized by the International Sports Promoters Association (ISPA), aims to inspire young footballers nationwide and foster national unity.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) endorsed the initiative, highlighting its role in nurturing talent and promoting peace among Nigerian youth. Scheduled from September 25 to October 1, the event will showcase youth football talent and contribute to the country's official Independence Day celebrations.

The tournament is expected to provide meaningful opportunities for young players and contribute to the growth of football at the grassroots level.
