Nigerian Army Chief Shaibu Makes Major Appointments and Redeployments

The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, has approved the appointment and redeployment of senior officers in key command and staff positions across various units and training institutions of the Nigerian Army. The aim is to strengthen leadership and command structures to heighten operational effectiveness.

Major General Bamidel Alabi, Major General Jamal Abdulsalam, Major General Peter Mala, and other senior officers have been reassigned to different roles within the Nigerian Army.
