Makinde Leads Delegates in Electing PDP Oyo Exco Ahead of Convention

Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, led 4,050 delegates in electing the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Executive Council in Oyo State ahead of the November Convention.

The election took place at the Lekan Salami Stadium in Ibadan, with tight security measures in place. Senator Austin Akokonu oversaw the accreditation of delegates to ensure a transparent and credible election process.

The large turnout reflected the party's acceptance in the state. The event marked a significant step in shaping the PDP leadership in Oyo State.
