Man Found Dead in Suspected Suicide in Ogun State

On June 13, 2026, a man identified as Obikoya Adewal was found dead in the Sabo area of Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, under circumstances suspected to be suicide. A video of the incident circulated on social media, showing the deceased hanging from the roof in front of a house.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Oluseyi Babaseyi, confirmed the incident on Sunday, stating that the police had commenced an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the death. The report was received at 08:40 hours, prompting a visit from the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) and a team to the scene to conduct necessary procedures and preserve the body for further investigation.
