The Premier League stated that the club submitted misstated financial information, using arrangements involving commercial income to present a stronger financial position than its actual accounts reflected.

The total financial adjustments identified amount to £920.7 million. The commission concluded that Manchester City filed misstated accounts and concealed the true state of its finances from auditors and football regulators.
