Mecure Industries Reports 177% Profit Surge to N6.46bn

Mecure Industries Plc announced a remarkable profit increase of 177% for the year ending December 31, 2025, achieving N6.46 billion, up from N2.33 billion in 2024. The company's revenue from pharmaceutical manufacturing rose to N77.69 billion in 2025, a 69% increase from N46.03 billion in 2024.

This growth was attributed to improved sales performance across its product lines. The OTC category was the largest contributor, generating N42.57 billion in 2025, compared to N25.22 billion in 2024.

Other notable revenue increases included the supplement segment, which climbed to N8.70 billion from N5.15 billion, and chronic products, which grew to N5.35 billion from N3.17 billion. The narcotic segment recorded N2.52 billion in revenue, up from N1.49 billion.

The company's total assets increased to N81.96 billion as of December 31, 2025, from N54.84 billion in 2024. The directors recommended a dividend payout of 20% of earnings per share, amounting to N0.32 per share, subject to shareholder approval.
