Anambra Man Wins Cooking Competition at Nzukora Nnewi Festival

Mazi Chinedu, a 28-year-old man from Anambra, won a cooking competition at the Nzukora Nnewi New Yam festival, receiving a two million naira award. Chinedu impressed the judges by preparing watery yam pottage using traditional ingredients.

The competition, sponsored by Nigerian Breweries plc, showcased Chinedu's culinary talent, as he outshined three female contestants to claim the top prize. Chinedu expressed gratitude for the opportunity to showcase his cooking skills and thanked the community for their support.

His passion for cooking started at a young age, influenced by his mother's culinary skills, and has now led to recognition and a significant cash prize.
