Mercedes-Benz Files Complaint Against Victor Osimhen

Mercedes-Benz has reportedly filed a complaint against Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen with Italian authorities, specifically the Carabinieri, Italy's national police force, over an alleged unpaid vehicle debt amounting to approximately ₦142 million (about $90,000). The complaint alleges that Osimhen has not finalized the purchase of a leased vehicle and has failed to complete the necessary payments.

The report indicates that the outstanding debt has drawn attention due to Osimhen's high-profile lifestyle, which includes ownership of luxury vehicles such as a Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, and various Mercedes-Benz models. Osimhen, who plays for SSC Napoli and has been instrumental in the club's recent success, including winning their first Serie A title in nearly four decades, is reported to earn around €20 million annually, making him one of the highest-paid players in the league.

As of the report, Osimhen's representatives have not issued an official statement regarding the allegations.
