Iran Seeks Permanent End to Middle East Wars, Says Khatibzadeh

On Friday, during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum in Turkey, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh articulated Iran's position on regional conflicts, asserting that the country is pursuing a comprehensive end to wars in the Middle East rather than merely temporary ceasefires. Khatibzadeh described the ceasefire in conflict zones such as Lebanon and the Red Sea as a "red line" for Iran, indicating that the nation will not accept temporary solutions.

He also addressed the historical significance of the Strait of Hormuz, emphasizing that Iran will ensure its open access, which he claims is crucial for global trade. Khatibzadeh noted that actions by the U.S. and Israel have contributed to instability in the region.

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum, attended by world leaders and senior officials, aims to discuss various topics affecting contemporary politics and economics, with Khatibzadeh's remarks highlighting Iran's commitment to maintaining stability in the Strait of Hormuz.
