Nigerian Striker Terem Moffi Completes Loan Move to Porto with €8 Million Option to Buy

Nigerian striker Terem Moffi has finalized a loan move from Nice to Porto, with the Portuguese club holding an option to buy him for €8 million. The 26-year-old, who previously played for Lorient, had a difficult spell at Nice, including a medical incident that led to his departure.

Moffi will be on loan at Porto until the end of the season, with a potential permanent move set at €8 million. Despite a challenging season at Nice, where he scored just two goals in 10 league appearances, Moffi remains a recognized figure in Nigerian football.

He made his Super Eagles debut in 2021 and has continued to impress, scoring a brace in a 10-0 win against Sao Tome and Principe in 2022. Porto sees Moffi as an immediate solution to their attacking needs and will consider a permanent move at the end of the season.
