Mohamed Salah to Leave Liverpool FC After 2025 Season

Mohamed Salah confirmed he will leave Liverpool FC at the end of the 2025-2026 season, marking the conclusion of his nine-year stay at Anfield. Salah, who joined Liverpool from AS Roma in June 2017, announced his decision via a video shared on social media, following an official statement from the club.

He signed a new two-year contract in April 2025, which was set to run until 2027, but the agreement was reached to bring his departure forward by a year. Salah expressed a deep connection to Liverpool and its supporters, emphasizing the importance of clarity regarding his future.

Throughout his time at Liverpool, he scored 255 goals in 435 appearances, placing him third on the club's all-time scoring list. His achievements include winning the Premier League Golden Boot four times and securing multiple titles, including two Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League, and the FIFA Club World Cup.

Despite the announcement, Liverpool stated that Salah remains focused on finishing the current campaign strongly.
