Mohbad's Family Bars Widow Wunmi from Using Surname Amid Paternity Dispute

Mohbad's family, led by Omolayo Aloba and Joseph Aloba, has officially barred widow Wunmi from using the family surname until DNA test results confirm the paternity of their son Liam. This decision comes after Mohbad's death in September 2023, which sparked public outcry and investigations.

Despite setbacks in determining the cause of Mohbad's death, the family asserts that Wunmi has no legal right to the family name due to the absence of a statutory or customary marriage contract. The family also appoints Wahab Shittu to handle matters related to Mohbad's estate and the ongoing paternity dispute involving Liam.
