Mohbad's Widow Takes Legal Action to Protect Late Singer's Estate Amidst Allegations

Omowunmi Cynthia Aloba, the widow of late musician Mohbad, has initiated legal proceedings to safeguard her husband's estate. She filed a notification at the High Court in Ikeja on November 19, 2025, to prevent any unauthorized claims on the estate.

Omowunmi emphasized her status as Mohbad's legal wife and the mother of their surviving child, Master Liam Aloba. The move comes in response to allegations made by actor Yomi Fabiyi, who claimed that a video involving Mohbad was being used for extortion.

Omowunmi aims to ensure that the estate is properly administered and protected from fraudulent activities.
