Molde FK Suspends Nigerian Player Over Sexual Assault Charge in Norway

Molde FK has suspended Nigerian player Daniel Daga following a sexual assault charge in Norway. Daga, accused of committing a sexual act without consent, faces legal proceedings under the Norwegian penal code.

The 20-year-old, who joined Molde FK in January, is barred from training and match activities pending further investigation. The case is set to begin legal proceedings in March 2026.

Daga's former club in Nigeria has confirmed the suspension. The player last appeared for Molde FK in November 2025, scoring twice in 15 appearances across competitions.
