Ogoni Monarch Urges Youths to Back Oil Resumption for Economic Growth

King Samuel Nnee, the Coordinator of the Supreme Council of Ogoni Traditional Rulers, has called on Ogoni youths to support President Bola Tinubu's efforts to resume oil exploration in Ogoniland. The monarch emphasized the potential economic benefits and improved living standards that could result from the resumption of oil production in the region.

President Tinubu had earlier inaugurated a committee to develop a framework for restarting oil operations in Ogoniland. King Nnee stressed the importance of transparent and inclusive negotiations between the government and the local community to ensure mutual benefits.
