Moniepoint, formerly known as TeamApt, has raised $90 million in Series C funding, making it one of the largest fintech deals in Africa in 2025. The funding round was led by global growth investors, with Visa and Google playing a significant role in strengthening Africa's fintech landscape.

The investment will fuel Moniepoint's expansion across Africa and enhance its position as a dominant player in the small business and bank payment ecosystem. Co-founder and CEO Tosin Eniolorunda expressed confidence in Africa's fintech potential, particularly in digital transactions and mobile commerce.
