MACBAN Claims More Muslims Killed Than Christians in Nigeria, Sparks Debate

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) President, Baba Othman Ngelzarma, stated that more Muslims have been killed than Christians in Nigeria, emphasizing the complexity of the crisis with various factors at play. He highlighted incidents like the 2017 violence in Taraba State and conflicts in Plateau, attributing the clashes to issues beyond religious differences.

Ngelzarma also addressed the impact of Boko Haram attacks on Muslims, challenging the perception of the conflict as solely religiously motivated.
