MTN Nigeria Reports N5.2trn Revenue for 2025 Fiscal Year

MTN Nigeria Communications PLC announced its financial results for the 2025 fiscal year, reporting a revenue of N5.2 trillion, which represents a nearly 55% increase from N3.36 trillion in 2024. The company achieved a profit before tax of N1.7 trillion, reflecting a 408.2% increase from the previous year.

MTN's tax contributions amounted to N583.18 billion, a 289.1% increase compared to N149.89 billion declared in 2024. Dr.

Karl Toriola, CEO of MTN, noted that 2025 marked a significant turning point for the company, emphasizing its commitment to supporting Nigeria's development through substantial tax contributions that fund federal infrastructure and social welfare programs. The company invested N1 trillion in capital expenditure for network expansion, creating thousands of local jobs and enhancing service quality.
