MTN’s Big Afrobeats Chase

MTN Nigeria has launched a new competition, Next Afrobeats Star (NAS), in partnership with Ultima Studios and ONErpm, to discover the next big Afrobeats sensation. Aspiring artists can enter by texting NAS to 13013 using an MTN line or downloading instrumentals from the NAS website to record their vocals.

Auditions will take place digitally and in person across Jos, Enugu, and Lagos, with a pool of 300 entries shortlisted for live performances. The show aims to focus on creating a global success story for the winner, with a music deal up for grabs.

The collaboration between MTN, Ultima Studios, and ONErpm aligns with Nigeria's Destination 2030 strategy to position the country as a leading hub of creative excellence. The show promises professional development, mentorship, and access to resources to ensure the discovered talent is nurtured for success.
