Bill Gates Regrets Past Ties to Epstein and Affairs

Bill Gates, co-founder of Microsoft and philanthropist, addressed staff at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation regarding his past associations with Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender. Gates admitted that spending time with Epstein was a "huge mistake" and acknowledged that it affected the foundation's work.

He confirmed having two extramarital affairs with Russian women, which he described as mistakes. Gates stated that his relationship with Epstein began in 2011, after Epstein had pleaded guilty to soliciting a minor for prostitution.

Gates expressed regret for not having checked Epstein's background and for continuing the relationship despite concerns raised by his then-wife, Melinda Gates, in 2013. He emphasized that he did not witness any illicit activities during his interactions with Epstein.

Gates's remarks came during a town hall meeting, where he also apologized to those affected by his mistakes.
