Music earnings couldn’t have sponsored my wedding to Otedola’s daughter – Mr Eazi

Nigerian singer and entrepreneur, Mr Eazi, denied that his music earnings alone funded his wedding to actress Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola. In response to a social media user's claim that he was trying to recoup wedding expenses by releasing a new single, Mr Eazi humorously dismissed the idea, stating, "U think sey music go fit pay wedding." However, another user pointed out that Mr Eazi's earnings in 2018 could have covered the wedding costs.

The singer explained that despite a financially challenging past decade, his music career had been successful in the last year, allowing him to afford the wedding. The couple had a private ceremony in Iceland after getting engaged in April 2022.

Mr Eazi had previously revealed that he met Temi through her elder sister, DJ Cuppy.
