Nigerian Muslim Leaders Warn Netanyahu Over Interference

Muslim leaders in Nigeria, represented by the Muslim Ummah of South West Nigeria (MUSWEN), have cautioned Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against meddling in Nigeria's internal affairs. This warning comes in response to Netanyahu's remarks on joining the United States in protecting Christians facing persecution, including in Nigeria.

Professor Wole Abba, the MUSWEN secretary, criticized Netanyahu's statements, linking them to alleged acts of terror against Palestinians. Former presidential aide Bashir Ahmad rejected Netanyahu's offer of foreign military action in Nigeria, emphasizing the country's sovereignty.
