Moses Simon's Journey from Military Aspirations to Paris FC

Moses Simon, a winger for Paris FC, disclosed in an interview that his father, a retired soldier, had intended for him to join the military if his football career did not materialize. Simon faced numerous challenges, including failed trials with several Nigerian clubs and a collapsed move to Ajax.

However, he remained determined and eventually caught the attention of Dutch coach Tonni Bruin Slot, who recruited him while he was in Kaduna. Simon signed a contract worth 200,000 euros, which he described as life-changing, along with an additional 40,000 euros for transport.

Upon receiving the money, he sought his father's blessing before traveling abroad. Reflecting on his journey, Simon noted the discipline and perseverance he learned from his father's military background, which helped him succeed in professional football despite the setbacks he encountered.
