RIP champ." This revelation comes after Pere stirred controversy by suggesting that the South African movie industry is superior to Nollywood in terms of filmmaking, storytelling, and work ethic. Despite acting in and producing a few Nollywood and international movies like "Gem of the Rain Forest" and "Pound of Flesh," Pere emphasized that the Nigerian film industry still has much to learn from its South African counterpart.
