Aunty Talatu: Feeding the Needy and Empowering Youth

Aunty Talatu Teresa Ameh, a retired civil servant and author of ten published children's books, is a prominent member of the Aunty Talatu Read Foundation, which she established to encourage children's reading and later expanded to empower the girl child. She is also a member of the 1000 African Women Network and the Abuja Literary Society, and a trustee of the Northern Nigeria Writers Summit.

Aunty Talatu finds her greatest happiness in feeding the needy, particularly orphans and widows, believing that true wealth comes from serving humanity. She emphasizes the importance of family values and the joy derived from helping others.

Aunty Talatu enjoys writing children's stories to inspire young readers and shape their futures. She advocates for women's achievements, especially during International Women's Month, urging women to strive for development and make the world a better place.
