Senator Natasha Akpoti Clarifies Procedural Invitation to Akpabio Amidst Speculation

Senator Natasha Akpoti of PDP in Kogi Central explained that her invitation to Senator Godswill Akpabio and other senators for a project inauguration was a standard procedural courtesy and not a personal gesture. The invitation was extended during the Senate's plenary session to mark her second anniversary in office.

Akpoti expressed displeasure at the unnecessary interpretations and clarified that it was a customary practice. She listed various projects inaugurated, including boreholes, streetlights, police quarters, and schools.

Akpoti emphasized following proper procedures despite ongoing court cases and highlighted her experiences in the Senate over the past two years.
