Davido Prefers Kids to Work in Family Businesses Over Music

In a recent interview with the Breakfast Club, famous Afrobeat singer Davido expressed his desire for his children to work in the companies owned by their grandfather, Deji Adeleke, rather than pursuing careers in the entertainment industry. Davido attributed this preference to his past struggles in breaking into the music sector, highlighting that working in his father's companies would provide a more stable and easier life for his children.

He recounted his father's initial refusal to support his music career, which he felt hindered his joy until he achieved success. Davido mentioned that his father takes his grandchildren on trips every Christmas, emphasizing the importance of family and the joy he derives from seeing them.

He noted that while he does not want his children to enter the entertainment industry, he is supportive of their choices if they decide to pursue it.
